Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026

1. Introduction

Infinity Home Hub (ABN 47 288 263 727) (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit infinityhomehub.com.au or buy from us, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and how you can access, correct or complain about it.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We have chosen to follow these standards as a matter of good practice, and to meet the requirements of the payment, advertising and analytics platforms we use.

2. What personal information we collect

Information you give us:

  • Name, email address and phone number
  • Billing and delivery addresses
  • Order and transaction history
  • Account username and password (stored in encrypted form)
  • Product reviews, photos or feedback you submit
  • Correspondence with our support team
  • Newsletter subscription details

Payment information: we accept card payments through WooPayments and payments through PayPal. Your card or PayPal login details are entered directly into the payment provider’s secure system. They do not pass through and are not stored on our website. We receive only confirmation that payment succeeded, along with a masked reference such as the card type and last four digits, and the billing name and address needed to match the payment to your order.

Information collected automatically:

  • IP address and approximate location (city or region level)
  • Device type, operating system, browser and screen size
  • Pages viewed, products viewed, items added to cart, time on site and referring website
  • Mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and other on-page interactions, recorded as session replays and heatmaps (see section 6)
  • Cookie and advertising identifiers
  • Server logs recording requests to our website

We do not deliberately collect sensitive information (such as health, racial or ethnic origin, or religious beliefs). Please do not include sensitive information in messages to us.

3. How we collect your information

We collect personal information:

  • directly from you, when you place an order, create an account, subscribe, submit a review, or contact us;
  • automatically, through cookies, tracking pixels, session-recording tools and server logs when you browse the site; and
  • from third parties, including WooPayments and PayPal, our shipping carriers and shipping rate service, and advertising platforms such as Meta, Google and TikTok, for example when you arrive at our site by clicking one of our ads.

Where it is reasonable and practicable, we collect information directly from you.

4. Why we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • process, fulfil and deliver your orders
  • calculate shipping costs and generate shipping labels
  • send order confirmations, dispatch notices and tracking updates
  • manage your account and order history
  • respond to enquiries, returns and warranty claims
  • process refunds and manage payment disputes and chargebacks
  • invite you to review a product you have purchased
  • detect and prevent fraud and misuse of the site
  • understand how our website is used, including how visitors move through and interact with our pages, so we can improve it
  • measure the performance of our advertising
  • send marketing communications, where you have consented
  • remind you about items left in your cart, where you have provided your email address
  • meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations

We only use your information for the purpose it was collected for, a directly related purpose you would reasonably expect, or a purpose you have consented to.

5. Marketing and email communications

If you subscribe to our newsletter or opt in during checkout, we may send you product updates, new releases and promotional offers. Our emails, both transactional and marketing, are sent using our email service at Hostinger.

Abandoned cart reminders. If you enter your email address during checkout but do not complete your order, we may use that address to send you a reminder about the items left in your cart. These reminders are sent using Hostinger Reach. You can opt out using the unsubscribe link in any reminder.

Review invitations. After your order is delivered we may email you an invitation to review the products you bought. These invitations are sent through Customer Reviews for WooCommerce (CusRev), and include your name, email address and the items you ordered. Every invitation contains an unsubscribe link.

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we action unsubscribes within 5 business days as required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You can also email support@infinityhomehub.com.au to opt out at any time.

Opting out of marketing will not stop transactional messages about an order you have placed, such as order confirmations, dispatch notices and delivery updates.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Essential cookies: set by WordPress and WooCommerce to keep your cart contents, keep you logged in, and secure the checkout. The site will not work properly without these.
  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which help us understand which pages and products people visit and how they move through the site.
  • Advertising and measurement technologies: see below.

Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our website. Clarity records how you interact with our pages, including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and the sequence of pages you view, and produces session replays and heatmaps from that data. It also collects your IP address, device and browser information. Clarity is configured to mask text entered into form fields, so information such as your address or payment details is not captured in recordings, but you should be aware that your on-page behaviour is being recorded. Microsoft may use this information as described in its own privacy statement. You can opt out of Microsoft’s advertising and analytics tracking through Microsoft’s privacy settings.

Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API. We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To measure whether our ads lead to purchases, we use the Meta Pixel on our website and the Meta Conversions API, which sends event data from our server directly to Meta. This may include the pages and products you viewed, items added to your cart, and purchases you completed, together with a browser identifier and IP address. Where contact details such as your email address or phone number are shared with Meta so it can match an event to an account, they are hashed (converted into an irreversible code) before being sent. Meta may use this information to show you our ads, to build advertising audiences, and for its own purposes as set out in Meta’s own privacy policy.

You can manage how Meta uses your data for advertising in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences settings.

Google Ads and Google Analytics. We advertise through Google Ads. We use Google’s conversion tracking and remarketing tags to measure which ads lead to sales and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. This may involve Google setting cookies or receiving your IP address, device information and browsing activity on our site. Where enhanced conversion measurement is enabled, contact details such as your email address are hashed before being sent to Google. We also use Google Analytics to understand site usage, and Google Search Console, which reports on search performance in aggregate only.

You can control personalised advertising through your Google Ads settings at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser opt-out add-on.

TikTok Pixel. Our website includes the TikTok Pixel, which records pages viewed, items added to your cart and purchases completed. Where contact details such as your email address, phone number, name or postcode are shared with TikTok so it can match an event to an account, they are hashed before being sent. TikTok may use this information for advertising measurement and audience building, and for its own purposes as set out in its privacy policy. You can manage personalised advertising in your TikTok account settings.

Managing cookies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the site, including the cart and checkout, may not work.

7. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information.

We share it only with parties who help us run the business, and only to the extent they need it:

  • WooPayments: our card payment gateway, provided by Automattic Inc. Card processing, payouts and fraud screening are performed on Stripe’s payment infrastructure. Receives your name, email, billing address, transaction amount and card details.
  • PayPal: where you choose to pay by PayPal. Receives your name, email, delivery address and transaction details. Your PayPal account credentials are never shared with us.
  • Australia Post and CouriersPlease: our delivery carriers. Receive your name, delivery address, phone number and email so they can deliver your parcel and send you tracking notifications.
  • ReachShip: our shipping rate and label service. Receives your delivery address, postcode and parcel details so it can calculate shipping costs at checkout and generate shipping labels.
  • Hostinger: our web hosting and email provider. Our website, WooCommerce customer and order database, and our email accounts are stored on Hostinger’s infrastructure. Hostinger Reach, a Hostinger service, also processes email addresses and cart contents to send abandoned cart reminders and newsletters.
  • Customer Reviews for WooCommerce (CusRev): our review platform. Receives your name, email address and order details in order to send review invitations and publish the reviews you submit.
  • Meta Platforms, Inc.: for advertising and conversion measurement on Facebook and Instagram, as described in section 6.
  • Google LLC: for advertising, conversion measurement and analytics, as described in section 6.
  • Microsoft Corporation: for website analytics, session replays and heatmaps through Microsoft Clarity, as described in section 6.
  • TikTok: for advertising measurement through the TikTok Pixel, as described in section 6.
  • WordPress and WooCommerce plugin providers: where a plugin we use processes data to provide its function.
  • Professional advisers: our accountant, and lawyers if required.
  • Law enforcement or regulators: where we are required or authorised by law.

If our business is ever sold or restructured, customer information may transfer to the buyer as part of that transaction. We would notify you if this materially changed how your information is handled.

8. Overseas disclosure and storage

Some of the providers we rely on store or process personal information outside Australia. This means your information may be handled in countries with different privacy laws to Australia’s.

Website and order database. Our website and its customer database are hosted with Hostinger, a company based in Lithuania. Hostinger does not operate a data centre in Australia, so our site and its data are stored offshore:

  • Malaysia: our live website, WooCommerce order records and customer database
  • Singapore: automated backups of the website and database

This means the personal information you provide when placing an order, including your name, delivery address, phone number, email address and order history, is stored and processed in Malaysia, and copied to Singapore as part of routine backups. Both countries have their own data protection laws, which differ from Australia’s.

Other overseas recipients:

  • United States: Meta Platforms, Google, Microsoft, Automattic (WooPayments) and Stripe
  • Lithuania and the European Union: Hostinger, as our provider and for account administration
  • Malaysia and Singapore: website and database hosting, and backups, as above
  • Global network: PayPal, which processes payments through entities in several countries including the United States; and TikTok, which processes data through entities including the United States and Singapore
  • Other overseas processing: ReachShip and CusRev process data on servers outside Australia

Australia Post and CouriersPlease handle delivery information within Australia.

Before disclosing information overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, including by relying on the contractual terms and privacy commitments each provider publishes. However, overseas providers are also subject to the laws of their own country, which may include lawful access requests by foreign authorities. By placing an order, you acknowledge that your information will be stored and processed overseas as described here.

9. How we store and protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These include:

  • encryption of data in transit using SSL/TLS across the whole site, including checkout
  • using PCI-DSS compliant payment providers, so full card details never reach our systems
  • restricting access to customer data to people who need it
  • strong, unique passwords and multi-factor authentication on our hosting, WordPress administrator and payment accounts
  • keeping WordPress, WooCommerce, our theme and plugins updated
  • regular backups of the website and database

No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it:

  • Order and transaction records: at least 5 years, to meet Australian Taxation Office record-keeping requirements
  • Account details: while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards
  • Marketing subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we do not contact you again
  • Support correspondence: generally 2 years
  • Website analytics and session recordings: in line with the retention periods set by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity

When information is no longer needed and we are not required to keep it, we destroy or de-identify it. Because our host takes automated backups, information may remain in a backup copy for a limited period after it has been deleted from the live site, until that backup is overwritten in the normal cycle.

11. Data breaches

If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will assess it promptly, take steps to contain it, and notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

12. Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making to make decisions that significantly affect you.

Our payment providers apply automated fraud screening to transactions. WooPayments uses Stripe’s risk scoring, and PayPal applies its own checks. This can result in a payment being declined or held for review. If that happens to you, contact us at support@infinityhomehub.com.au and we will review the order manually.

13. Children

Our website and products are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Accessing and correcting your information

You can access most of your information directly through your account. You can also ask us to:

  • provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • correct information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete
  • delete information we no longer have a legal reason to keep

Email support@infinityhomehub.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. There is no fee for making a request, though we may charge a reasonable cost for large or complex requests, and we will tell you before doing so. If we refuse a request, we will explain why in writing.

Note that we cannot delete records we are legally required to keep, such as tax and transaction records, and we cannot delete data already held independently by Meta, Google, Microsoft or TikTok. You would need to use their own account settings for that.

15. Third-party websites

Our site may link to other websites, and our ads appear on platforms operated by Meta, Google and TikTok. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

16. Complaints
